NDIS Short-Term Accommodation, including respite, support provides temporary care and accommodation for people with disabilities, allowing their primary caregivers to take a well-deserved break. A happy caregiver is a better caregiver and respite care provides a safety net for them, ensuring their loved one receives continued support even in their absence. Taking a pause from the mundanity of daily routines is also beneficial for the participants. STA support will help the participants interact with new people, expand their social circle and develop new skills. Our Short-Term Accommodation (STA) and Respite services provide a safe and supportive environment where participants can experience quality care away from home. Whether you need a break, want to try new activities, or your regular caregivers need some time off, our STA services are designed to meet your needs.
Short Term Accommodation (STA) services include personal care, accommodation, food, and agreed-upon activities. Funding typically covers up to 28 days per year, which can be used flexibly, such as in 14-day blocks or one weekend a month. STA is usually funded at standard rates, as outlined in the NDIS pricing arrangements. Generally, funding is for group settings unless individual support is required due to a disability. With accessible accommodations, nutritious meals, engaging activities, and personalised care, SICCA’s STA support strives to create a home-away-from-home atmosphere that promotes independence, well-being, and personal growth. Enjoy the flexibility of our services, designed to fit your schedule and needs. With us, you are not just getting a place to stay – you are gaining a supportive team that prioritises your well-being and growth. Experience the difference with SICCA, where every stay feels like home!
